Meet Our Team

Roots Construction and Design is made up of husband and wife team, Robby and Summer Ignagni.

Starting their construction and design careers in Nashville, Tennessee, Robby and Summer worked with top builders over the course of nine years where they learned and grew their skill set.

In 2021, they made the move back to Summer’s hometown in Virginia where they started their own company. Feeling like they were finally putting down real roots for their family, Roots Construction and Design felt like the perfect name for their business. They have a passion for helping families put down their own roots and love their home whether it’s through a remodel or building from scratch.

They reside in Chilhowie with their four kids, Lovey, Gio, Darla and Julian, and sweet dog Mercy.
